| Welcome to Brookside! Brian and Heather Wharry opened Brookside Outdoor Center following the closure of Camp Quebec Lodge in 2005. Brian was the former assistant camp director and Heather was the camp nurse at Quebec Lodge. Between them, they have over thirty years of combined camp experience. The Brookside staff team is a strong mix of education and health professionals who are committed to providing each camper with a positive and memorable camping experience. At Brookside, staff members are selected for their experience and ability to nurture campers as well as for their leadership skills. Our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and take part in an extensive pre-camp orientation. To allow campers to learn new skills safely, we maintain a camper to staff ratio of 3:1. |

| Robert Monk will be back at Brookside again for another wild and wacky summer! Robert will be our Program Coordinator again this year, as well as our senior male counselor. Robert brings with him solid experience working as part of a team and a commitment to working with children from all walks of life, as well as lifeguarding experience. Welcome back Robert! |
| We are pleased to announce that Sarah Irwin-Gibson will be returning to Brookside this summer to join our staff team. Sarah graduated from McGill University with her Bachelor of Education in 2009 and has been working as a teacher in the United Kingdom for the past year. She brings with her a wealth of experience in both camping and outtripping, lifeguarding, team building and mentoring younger staff, and, most importantly, a deep love for children. |

| Matt Brotherwood will be joining us again as a valued volunteer at Brookside for the third summer in a row. We will be blessed by his kindness in the kitchen and as he helps us get organized every day! Thank you, Matt! |
| We joyfully welcome a dear friend, Greg Baird, to our core team. With a passion for Christ and a heart for young people in trouble, he will be sharing his life and story with us this summer before heading off to Capernwray Bible College this fall. |
