| Welcome to Brookside! Brian and Heather Wharry opened Brookside Outdoor Center following the closure of Camp Quebec Lodge in 2005. Brian was the former assistant camp director and Heather was the camp nurse at Quebec Lodge. Between them, they have over thirty five years of combined camp experience. The Brookside staff team is committed to providing each camper with a positive and memorable camping experience. At Brookside, staff members are selected for their experience and ability to nurture campers as well as for their leadership skills. Our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and take part in an extensive pre-camp orientation. To allow campers to learn new skills safely, we maintain a camper to staff ratio of 3:1. |

| Robert Monk was back at Brookside again for another wild and wacky summer in 2011! Robert was our Program Coordinator again this year, as well as our senior male counselor. Robert brought with him solid experience working as part of a team and a commitment to working with children from all walks of life, as well as lifeguarding experience. Thank you, Robert! |

| Matt Brotherwood joined us again as a valued volunteer at Brookside for the third summer in a row. We were blessed by his kindness in the kitchen and as he helped us get organized every day! Thank you, Matt! |
