Being a counselor with Brookside is way more than just a summer job;
it is a decision to care, a decision to give your best, and be your best.
And we, and all our campers, expect that from you.
Our faith is a little bit like that too. God will never force Himself on
you. Faith is a choice made by you. God already made His choice for you
on sinner's cross two thousand years ago, and He promises us in the
Bible that He will never ever leave us. So it's up to us to choose to walk
with Him.

A big thank you goes out from Brian and I to all of our staff and JCs
and especially to our several volunteers this summer. We can't
express our gratitude enough for all of your work and guts and crazy
over the top wonderful selves! We couldn't have done it without you
and camp wouldn't have happened without you. We all had our
challenges and have all learned more about ourselves and God's grace
through the whole process. Thank you for being a part of Brookside
this summer!
